Charleston Finds & Makeovers

We met friends in Charleston this summer to celebrate Fourth of July.  My friend and I got up very early on Saturday, and headed out to some garage sales.

These are a few of the great finds two side tables, ship wheel, and two large gold frames! Yes I mean large!  The frames I got for a whopping $10....yes I said $10!  I'm planning on making a chalkboard for my dining room with one, and probably will frame a painting, or maybe making another chalkboard to sell.

The after of the tables, and ship wheel...

While shopping in Charleston I found a place that sells my favorite paint Annie Sloan Chalk paint, and found out she came out with a new color Florence.  The above table I thought screamed for this color of paint with its shell handle.

I absolutely love taking something plain, and not very appealing, and making something beautiful and unique from it!  Tables sold right away, I have a friend who wants this ship wheel, but I just can't let go of it!

Have a great day, and more summer projects to come!.
