You never know where you may find a piece of furniture. I'm often asked where do you find these pieces of furniture at such great deals? Well I can honestly say, I do believe the Lord has blessed me with this gift. I have always been able to find a deal, but I will tell you this...waiting...shopping...waiting...patience. I go alot a of places, and buy nothing.
The first time I came a cross this little cottage shop that has become one of my favorites, and I intend to keep it a secret, they had just reduced this sideboard. End of the story she was coming home with me...

I wanted to do a paint color that would be neutral and work in most any decor. I chose to go with French Linen (ASCP). It is a beautiful color gray with some taupe, and a very popular color in design for furniture right now. I decided to paint the handles, I didn't like the patina with the gray paint.

I did lightly distress, and did a clear wax finish. This piece is SOLD and in its new home. I will be painting a dining table in French Linen coming up. I love this color!
